About Us

To advance our vision and mission, we intend to influence human undertakings in key areas where we can have the greatest effect: how we communicate*, how our leaders lead, and how we support our youth in acquiring skills to live and create in harmony and peace.
To accomplish this, One Voice of Peace offers programs and initiatives that inspire people to work together to create peace. Our programs provide practical tools that enhance communications and prevent conflict and misunderstanding before it can begin.

Central Initiatives:

Kids Create Peace TM Its purpose is to empower youth and children with the skills and understanding to create and bring peace to their own lives, their community and the world. The program, described elsewhere, brings that purpose into schools starting in 2011. [See “Programs“]

Touchstone Transformational Leaders TM serves men and women who have attained stature and visibility in their fields, as well as those who are in preparation for leadership roles in this new paradigm. We offer workshops and retreats, in private and in groups. All open by asking, “How would my life be different if I lived it more authentically, with a sense of my larger purpose?” Participants attain greater effectiveness and confidence in responding to new, often confusing, conditions in our time of rapid change. Arts & Media for Peace TM focuses on the entertainment and mass media. These powerful communicators not only dispense information worldwide, but stir, focus and shape emotion, and motivate to action. They influence decision-makers and events at home and across the globe. The program’s goal is to replace violent, negative and demeaning words and images with those that acknowledge and reinforce a sense of common humanity and the universal human capacity for generosity, mutual assistance, and respect for life. Peace Alliance Network TM*will soon have presence on Facebook, Twitter, Blog, LinkedIn and YouTube, and use these already-existing and powerful tools of social media. The intentions are to: Facilitate communication and collaboration among those working for peace – both individuals and organizations.  Demonstrate the world-wide support for peace by collecting and disseminating data and information about those working for peace.

These activities ensure that recognition, understanding and support of the work of peace is energized and expanded, and that peace is acknowledged as a major force in today’s world, as so many know it is.
